DC Comics has extended the Absolute Green Arrow to 12 issues!

Confirmed via Facebook post that 6 more issues are “nocked and waiting”

DC Comics Facebook post anouncing the extension.

Issue 1 synopsis teased “I Know What You Did Last Summer for billionaires", Absolute Green Arrow reimagines the former vigilante for the people into a murder mystery centered among an Epstein Island-esque conspiracy. He isn't the hero; he is the villain chasing after the teens in a slasher film.

Issue #1 came off the heels of Absolute Evil where Hal Jordon killed the Emerald Archer. So, one of the biggest questions is: Who is the Green Arrow Killer?

The story is told for Dinah Lance's perspective. Through flashbacks we learn of her romantic history with Ollie. His rise to fame in the tech world with the Green Arrows Trading app. His tragic and mysterious death after last being seen on his yacht. So, if not Ollie, who is the Long Bow Killer? Is it Roy Harper? Maybe Mia Dearden or Tom Hallaway? Possibly Dinah herself? No, she has a run in with the killer at the end of the first issue. Perhaps this demonic new look is showing us this is a resurrected Oliver Queen back to settle the score?

Absolute Green Arrow fits in great with the other titles where it completely deconstructs and rebuilds the title characters and the universe around them.

Absolute Batman leans into brutal crime fiction.

Absolute Wonder Woman embraces mythic fantasy and epic spectacle.

Absolute Martian Manhunter explores psychological and cosmic horror.

Absolute Green Arrow appears to be a full-fledged slasher mystery.

Absolute Green Arrow Issue 3 released July 15th, 2026

The C.A.G.E. is following this series, are you?
